Splatterdays! Forget behaving yourself and sitting quietly in the theatre!

If your 5 - 13 years old, these workshops at unity are your chance to have loads of messy, exciting fun in the theatre and meet new friends.

You can have a go at crafts, painting, puppetry and poetry, make music, write a story and learn some acting & performance skills to boot.. The sessions take on different themes, tackling issues close to the heart of children and young people whao are invited to contribute their own ideas and shape their own projects.

Workshops are delivered by a dedicated team of arts practitioners who specialise in a range of art forms, performance skills and creative play activities.

Join Splatterdays! and you get free membership of our exciting Splatterdays! Club. You'll get free stuff, and a badge, and money off tickets for children and family shows here at unity.

Spooky Splatts!

This season Splatterdays! is getting into the festive spirit and with the Liverpool Lantern Company are offering a lantern making workshop on 18 October.

Join the Liverpool Lantern Company and Splatterdays! to create your our lantern to then take part in Liverpool’s best Halloween parade around Sefton Park.

The session costs the same as a usual splatts! session with an added materials cost of £5.50 (payable on the day, this money goes to the lantern company)

The workshop runs for the whole day, 11am - 4pm with a lunch break 1 - 2pm. There are only 20 places available for this workshop (available from either age group of splatts) but you must be accompanied by an adult.

Christmas Splatts!

At last Christmas is just around the corner and Splatterdays! is going to join in the fun. On Saturday 13 December at 1pm, before the 2pm show, there will be a free glass of pop, a chance to meet the cast of The Emperor’s New Clothes and a few games here or there.

The fun will continue in the theatre where you can get £1 off the price of a ticket for yourself and an adult of your choice.

The sessions are specifically designed for each age group:

Playtime
11:00am to 1:00pm 

Saturday Morning at unity is for 5 to 7 year olds.  The workshops are based around creative play and activities including storytelling, arts and crafts, music, drama games, quizzes and more!

Performing arts club
2:00PM to 4:00PM

Performing arts workshops for 8 to 13 year olds.  They include drama, art & design, music, creative writing and storytelling.

Prices:

£4.50 per child
£8.00 for two siblings
£2.50 concessions for families on a low income. 
Book and pay for all Autumn sessions in advance and get one session FREE.
