join unityangels and play your part
unityangels has been running for 16 years and has provided direct support for various major journeys
in unity’s life. One of the big highlights was our in house production of the epic drama, Angels In America,
back in 2002. Most recently unityangels supported Terry Titter’s 2007 Christmas Show and our
Splatterfest!08 in house show, Treasure.With the help of unityangels unity provides nourishment
for development of new scripts, nurtures new young talent and commissions local companies to produce
full scale new work on our stage. Future projects being supported include Jin Shan [Gold Mountain],
a collaboration with David Yip which will be given wings in a reading during the Autumn.
unityangels give us that extra bit of help to go a stage further to bring you the best in live performing
arts from around the world and produce some of the best new home grown theatre in the city.
Throughout the brochure we have highlighted those productions that have received a bit of angel dust,
and what we really need are more of you, our friends and patrons, to join up.
If just 200 of you donated £5 a month we’d have an extra £15,000 per year to put into the programme,
“every little helps”, as they say! And angels being a gift aid scheme, we get an extra 28pence for every
pound donated.
